SSC departed Vila on Sunday the 28th. Full loaded, they headed up through the beautiful Pacific waters to Malekula. With sunshine and clear skies, the team was able to work efficiently and had completed all delivery of FCL containers by lunch. They loaded up Carsinos for the next stage of the trip, which included cargo for CCECC and MAPRO.
SSC’s great range of equipment helps them to provide the best service for their customers and complete operations in great time. They just added a fourth container tuck to their fleet, a great addition to the team!
SSC did not stop till they had completed the job. They finished up with loading vehicles and then departed Litlitz at 10pm on the 29th.
Operations began the next morning in Melcoffee, Santo which included unloading oversized cargo, delivering and repositioning cargo such as vehicles, FCL and LCL containers and other large equipment. Their frozen goods truck makes it possible to transport frozen food between the islands.
After they had completed all of their unloading and delivery of cargo, SSC departed Melcoffee on Tuesday night and headed back down to Malekula to finish up.
During the return trip to Malekula the crew unloaded 4 full ISO tanks and 7 FLC containers.
This is SSC’s 99th voyage so they will be celebrating their 100th voyage on the 9th of this month !! SSC has aided many companies in inter island delivery and their transport of LCL containers has made it easy to send packages between the islands. It is a huge mile stone for SSC and we are all excited to see the 100th voyage north.
