    Have Any Questions?

South Sea Cargo departed from Port Vila at 2:07pm, Wednesday the 16th of August with a big work load ahead.

The first destination was Malekula where several containers needed to be delivered – including 2 LCL loads. Among the containers there were also 2 trucks and a 7 metre boat to be delivered, as well the popular frozen food supplies transported via the frozen goods truck!

Before departing Malekula, the team needed to load more containers and ISOs to bring to Santo.
While the crew were busy out on the islands carrying out operations, the Port Vila office staff were excited to announce a sponsorship with VBTC, supporting the Rugby World Cup Broadcast on local television station, VBTC.

Back on the islands, the crew had reached Santo and had begun repositioning containers to their new locations. All 3 South Sea Cargo trucks were on the road delivering containers over to East Santo to a regular customer, the MAP team.

The Santo operation kept the guys busy with all the movement. Before departing they still needed to load more containers that would be taken back to Malekula and then Port Vila, including 4 full containers of copra!
They returned to Malekula with another LCL container, 7 Full containers and several water tanks. Space was tight when unloading as Vanuatu Ferry and some other vessels were also docked at Litslits wharf that morning. However the South Sea Cargo crew members overcame the challenge and delivered the assets safely.

After another busy day the team were finally ready to depart and return to Port Vila while the sun was shining.
The team received a warm welcome after a successful large operation carried out over a record 10 full days!
This was by far the biggest trip South Sea Cargo have completed.
