SUBMISSION SUCCESSFUL

The South Sea Cargo barge was fully loaded as it departed Port Vila on the 19th of July, just over a week away from Vanuatu’s 43rd Independence Day.
This voyage was going to be a difficult one as the weather was very wet, cold and windy. And with a full barge, the team had to make sure safety was a priority during the extreme weather conditions.
There were 5 LCL containers on this voyage which is exciting to see the growth of the LCL customers over the last few months.
Also on the barge were water tanks, which are a necessity to the people living on the outer islands, South Sea Cargo and the team are very pleased to be able to assist in transporting these large water tanks to the people of Santo and Malekula.
The team has worked successfully during the wet few days and managed to deliver and reposition all of the required containers in the South Santo and Malekula areas.
