South Sea Cargo departed Port Vila on the 11th April 2023. The barge was headed for Malekula and Santo, the containers were loaded and the Frozen Goods truck had just reversed up the ramp and parked onto the barge. Although the journey on the sea takes about 12 hours to reach the destination, South Sea Cargo has the ability to deliver frozen goods to their customers and keep them at a controlled frozen temperature.

This is great as South Sea Cargo are able to ensure its customers that their fresh produce will stay cool and be delivered “Door to door”.

Besides delivering the Frozen goods, South Sea Cargo also had multiple containers to deliver to Malekula and then onto Santo, while also loading more cargo to deliver back to Port Vila.

South Sea Cargo had also delivered another container worth of equipment to the Forestry corner in Santo for the MAP Projects team (you can read more about them in the previous article – “VSSC082N”)

After another successful trip, the South Sea Cargo team had departed from Malekula on a rainy morning, heading back to Port Vila, where they will prepare for another journey a few days later.
