Sharing our passion to develop this wonderful Island Nation, Woti is a success story from MotaLava in the Banks Islands, located in Vanuatu’s Northern most Province.

Woti joins the SSC Team having recently supported Wan Smolbag as a Senior Advisor in Port Vila, implementing Community Development and Donor Aid Programs.

Having spent the previous 13 years with Air Vanuatu where he wore many hats, starting as a Customer Service Officer, Woti’s leadership potential was quickly noticed, and he went on to various senior positions as Supervisor and Operational Coordinator. Ending his time with Air Vanuatu in the Senior Leadership Team as General Manager Airports. Unfortunately, COVID began to have massive impacts and cutbacks on the Global Aviation and Travel Industry and while I know Air Vanuatu was sorry to see him go, we feel blest he has agreed to join the SSC’s Senior Management.

Being the only Domestic Shipping Company that utilizes Shipping Containers for our inter-island logistics, SSC continues to see firm and positive growth since incorporation in early 2020 and we believe the best is yet to come, so Woti is joining us at a very exciting time. We look forward to him bringing his Operational and Leadership experience, boosted by his positive ‘can do’ approach to the role as National Operations Manager.

Woti’s appointment comes with a level of personal satisfaction for me, I have held him in high regard both personally and professionally for some time and know he will bring an enormous amount to SSC’s Senior Management Team and am confident in his ability and further Leadership development with-in the broader Group Operations.
