Domestic Logistics’ throughout the South Pacific Island Nation of Vanuatu is always challenging, but the Team from South Sea Cargo take pleasure in going the extra mile to ensure our customers remain one of our key operational pillars along with Safety and the Environment.

As a start up in Jan 2020 and the only Domestic Containerized Service in Vanuatu, SSC supports not only National Infrastructure Projects but also the Agricultural and Commodities Sectors. Having arrived back from our regular Northern run to Santo and Malakula smashing another 61 Container moves and with weather conditions in the South remaining a bit ordinary, the SSC Team are doing a quick run North delivering Shipping Containers with an assortment of Breakbulk Plant & Equipment to keep the Brenwe Hydro Project moving forward. Then Ex Malakula we’ll load a couple containers of Copra for Vanuatu Basket and a few urgent bit and bobs for Port Vila with several machines urgently required by CCECC to ship down South to Tanna for Road Infrastructure Projects with.

Easy to forget that Vanuatu has 83 Islands with 75% of the population supported by subsistence farming, so our workspace is often remote locations that are hard to get to but vital to support in the current Government’s Economic Recovery Plan and SSC feels very privileged to be positively contributing to the bigger supply chain solution.
